Technowrap PRS returns externally corroded straight pipe to its original pressure rating and structural integrity, without cutting out steel or hot work.
Lines thinned from the inside, such as ammonia and cooling water lines, reinforced so they can run safely to the next shutdown or beyond.
Active leaks are first stopped with our strapping machine, then the composite is designed to carry the full load across the defect. A through-wall leak on a live 24" gas line was repaired in 15 hours.
Pin-hole leaks under insulation on refinery fuel oil lines, sealed and reinforced in place so temporary clamps can come off for good.
Live 24" and 30" natural gas lines repaired in service with Technowrap SRS, engineered for up to 47 bar and a 20-year design life. Downstream units keep running.
Couplings that leak again and again, often from water hammer, are enclosed, tapered and wrapped for a permanent repair. Our Mossel Bay salt water couplings took two days.
